Since our launch in 2011, Black Diamond Accordions and Melodeons have rapidly established a fine reputation as excellent instruments for both students and more experienced players, and are now widely recommended by teachers throughout the UK.

Made in the oldest-established accordion factory in China, using Italian reeds by Cagnoni, our instruments offer a really good sound at an affordable price.

*BDA now available in the USA*

Black Diamond Accordions are now available in the USA through our exclusive distributors,

What's special about Black Diamond Accordions

Italian reeds in both bass and treble ends of our boxes are what puts Black Diamond Accordions and Melodeons head and shoulders above inferior Chinese-made instruments.

We visit our factory in China regularly, and keep a close eye on quality control, as well as satisfying ourselves that working practices are ethical and health and safety standards adhered to.

All instruments come with the usual full statutory year's warranty but after the first year of purchase we are still more than happy to help with any problems, as we pride ourselves on our personal approach to lifetime customer satisfaction.

We encourage our customers to keep in touch - via the social networks and also in person - and to join the growing community of customers who are delighted with their Black Diamond instrument (see the 'Happy Customers' section below).

"Ideal student instruments"

Our instruments are becoming increasingly recognised as being amongst the best student boxes on the market, and have been endorsed and recommended by top teachers in England and Scotland.

We are always pleased to hear from accordion and melodeon teachers - whether individuals or organisations such as fèisean and music academies - and are happy to discuss specific requirements of teachers and pupils, as well as bulk purchases by institutions.
